Checking in on the AREVA Writers’ Room

\ Equality \ News

This Summer, the AREVA Writers’ Room programme has completed its Co-Creating Knowledge stage where participant organisations and artists met to develop critical reading skills, creative policy writing skills and best practice strategies for communicating new tonalities and lexicons with our communities and audiences.

The participants especially took to poetry and letter-writing as preferred forms for shifting organisational perspectives towards more empathetic, vulnerable and accountable ways of being.

Looking forward to the Autumn, we will be using what we have learned so far and applying it to live policies or formal documents from the group which we will rewrite together.

We are documenting our learning as a ‘zine which we will launch in a knowledge-sharing event on 12 Dec 2024.
